Mr. Rivero was born in Cuba. He and his family relocated to the United States in 1963. He has been practicing law since 1986. In addition, he was president of an investment advisory firm from 1997 through 2002, as well as on the board of directors for a commercial builder from 1998 to 2000. His practice is concentrated in the area of civil litigation, with an emphasis on commercial and personal injury lawsuits. Mr. Rivero is the proud parent of four children. He is active in water and mountain sports.
